Storms OV Jupiter Announce Release Date for "Cosmic Apocalypse"

Storms OV Jupiter has announced June 25 as the release date for their next album, formidably entitled Cosmic Apocalypse. The electro-drone duo has been diligently forging new tracks for the past few months, projecting their siren-like synths over dark and vast soundscapes. While it's hard to imagine how they will take their sound to more staggering depths than on their first EP, Dying Screams of an Imploding Star, invoking a full-on Cosmic Apocalypse seems like a logical next step.

Cancellieri Releases Cover Art and Tracklist for "Bad Hands" EP

We are eagerly anticipating the release of Cancellieri's Bad Hands EP, to be unveiled on May 22. From what we've heard so far, this new collection promises to be a superb exploration of ambient songcraft, reminiscent of Youth Lagoon, Memory Tapes, or Atlas Sound during Bradford Cox's more laid-back moments. For now, Cancellieri has released the planned cover art and tracklist for the EP. Enjoy, and stay tuned.

Malcom Lacey of Arrange to Remix Pan Track

We are excited to announce that Post-Echo will be collaborating with Portland artist Malcom Lacey of Arrange on an upcoming remix project for Pan's latest album, These Are the Things I Love and I Want to Share Them With You.  A post-modern renaissance man if ever there was one, the elegant craftsmanship of Lacey's work as Arrange will no doubt open new possibilities for how we listen to the uplifting sounds of our favorite post-rockers.  Other details surrounding the remix project are still waiting to be determined, but we will be sure to keep you plugged in as new developments unfold.

In the meantime, check out Arrange's new single "Caves" from this summer's New Memory LP- featured on Fader.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out Pan's These Are the Things I Love and I Want to Share Them With You.  It's currently streaming for a limited time and also available as a digital download, CD, or in luscious vinyl.

Phenomenology Via Quantum Sound: A Post-Echo Musical Lecture Featuring the Subconscious of Val Kilmer

Last week, Post-Echo hosted an audiovisual extravaganza at which Storms OV Jupiter, People Person, and The Radar Cinema ignited the stage.  Also on the bill were the ladies (and gentleman) of Siberia My Sweet, who rounded out the evening with their icy brand of electro-rock.

Bobby and I were definitely not going to miss an event with a name like Phenomenology Via Quantum Sound: A Post-Echo Musical Lecture Featuring The Subconscious of Val Kilmer, and we did our best to capture the spectacle in our latest video. Along with the electric atmosphere of the evening, we made sure to include a full song from each band, which makes for a bit of an extended-director's-cut viewing experience. Fear not, those of you with busy schedules! I've provided links below which you can use to jump directly to each of the songs.
